Ah yes, freshman year of college is over! And I'm back at home, enjoying a relaxing summer with..no real plans made except to teach myself organic chemistry. Weird right? Well that definitely gives me time to do a lot more drawing, which I'm super excited about. At the moment I don't really have any projects lined up yet except for the ever unfinished Dogs: Bullets and Carnage picture, which I promise will be finished. Just need more practice you know?

I think I might be trying to reference a little more now, maybe in drawing and digital painting as well. I want to work on poses and clothes - folds, lighting you name it. My art style has been influenced a lot by realistic aspects... kinda like the manga Vagabond? (excellent btw) So I'm definitely looking forward to producing stuff this summer! I'm thinking a lot of quickie fanarts too xD

I am looking forward to Fanime though this weekend! I won't be going on Friday, so I won't know if I did ok in that contest I entered... but it's exciting nonetheless thinking about it I'll know the results over the weekend. OR if you didn't know, I entered Fanime's art book contest, with my butler man picture :] Yeah, it involved voting and stuff, but I was too shy to kinda promote that thing on here, maybe later I'll be more forward about that. We'll see how my stuff is received when I kinda leave it on its own.
